Some exciting news tonight folks. According to Ausiello, Smallville season 10 is almost certainly happening:

Question: Crazed fans like myself desperately need an update on Smallville's renewal. How's it looking? Any idea what the hold-up is?
Ausiello: It's looking really, really good. And the hold-up is due to boring stuff like contracts and money.
Also Superman Homepage is reporting that the CW is close to nailing a deal to get Michael Rosenbaum back as Lex Luthor for 9-10 episodes next season. Check out the article here:

cant wait for season 10. Hopefully they will score michael R to return for a few episodes.
ReplyDeleteMichael Rosenbaum is without a doubt the BEST Luthor! I liked Gene Hackman but it was also too silly & for some reason he almost always wanted to appear with hair, which to me, takes away from the character. Kevin Spacey is a good actor but we ALL know how Singerman went, right?
ReplyDeleteRosenbaum nails the character in SO many ways, the whole corporate Lex angle, the baldness, etc. Ya know, it's funny. In the films we get TIRED of what, LUTHOR AGAIN?! But in SV Luthor was ALWAYS welcome & is sorely missed. Let's just hope that the Superman reboot finally gets it right for the film franchise.
