Homecoming, Smallville's 200th episode, airs tomorrow night. The conjecture is that we may see Tom Welling playing a future version of Superman and wearing The Suit.
Either way, the show's been firing on all cylinders and has been a lot more interesting than the reboot sounds so far. Speaking of which, keep an eye out for a poll here concerning casting for the film.
Finally, after episode's over, don't forget to head on over to the Apologist Puncher's Superman Film Watchdog forum to talk about it.

I'm far more interested in the reboot than Smallville. Several things about the show disappoint me... the singerman suit being one of them.
ReplyDeleteI read an interview that said they chose that version of the suit to tie Smallville to the movies. Smallville would be better off not trying to tie itself to the movies and just concentrate on being it's own unique take on the mythos. Which is what it is and always has been.
On an unrelated note... I like Owain Yeoman for Supes. He does mild mannered really well on the Mentalist and can do intimidating really well too.

The Younis page is reporting that Blandon might be considered for the reboot after all. They've allegedly got a quote from Snyder to back it up.
ReplyDelete- colors
read it closely...it is a quote from BJ.com from a non credible news source
ReplyDeleteIt's true. The campaign to "Bring Back Routh" has caught the eye of Snyder. And it's made me very angry with myself for thinking my campaign to Save Superman had been won. I was clearly wrong and underestimated the stupidity of the monkeys in charge. The question is, how do we stop it now??
ReplyDeleteMaybe a new campaign to keep BJ out....there are polls out there that BJ is losing out so it should be easy...Welling is leading the way in the polls and should be considered over Routh...BJ had his chance and he BLEW it!!!
ReplyDeleteIf they're considering Routh they should be giving equal -if not more- consideration to Welling. But I find it hard to believe they'd seriously think aoubt keeping either.
ReplyDeleteI both look forward to and dread hearing news on casting.
